An Event for Lead Pastors and Pastoral Teams

Hosted by Cary Schmidt, Kurt Skelly, and Scott Tewell

Three days of encouraging and equipping conversations focused on strategic leadership and ministry development.

The more we communicate with younger leaders around the world, the more we desire to encourage them in gospel-shaped leadership and ministry philosophy. Ministry is intense and often overwhelming. Spiritual leaders sincerely struggle to measure progress, manage expectations, and cultivate a gospel identity. We all need mentors and encouragers who have no private agenda or political angle—unconditional friendships. Our prayer is that the resources and opportunities we provide through this event will fuel your own friendships and personal leadership journey in the gospel.

Over these few days you will find new friends, be encouraged in taking next steps in ministry development, and enjoy a safe environment in which to converse about legitimate ministry challenges.

The weekend will include equipping sessions as well as unscripted “forum-style” conversations during which we will explore issues and challenges we all face in ministry leadership. We believe this will be a very edifying, equipping, and developmental for you and your church.

For those who are able to stay for Sunday at Emmanuel, we would love to host you for the additional day of worship and fellowship!
