Show Notes – Episode 33
Unity in Gospel Ministry
The world’s idea of “unity” is simply uniformity, but uniformity does not equal unity.
Unity is from the Spirit and draws people to Christ.
Ephesians 1:3-7 “Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
A Consecrated Calling
Disunity causes confusion and a lose of effectiveness in ministry.
Don’t think of your self more highly than you ought to, but at the same time, remember who you are in Jesus!
Unity doesn’t just happen; it takes effort. It comes from Jesus, but is kept by us.
A Common Condition
In a conflicting culture, unity should be found in Christ.
A Compassionate Contribution
Even though we are all different, when we embrace the gift that we have been given, we can all come together in Christ.
Edifying the body of Christ is our ultimate purpose as a team of church leaders.
A Complete Conclusion
